What is a "similar mention"?

If two mentions

• share the same source type,
• are collected using the same keyword,
• have very similar character counts,
• and contain identical randomly selected longer phrases,

they will automatically be considered similar mentions by the system. The first mention collected chronologically will be displayed at the top, with all similar mentions linked to it and listed underneath.
