How do you analyze the different languages?

The importance of native analysis.

Neticle handles languages individually and supports native analysis – meaning no translation is needed for the analysis. Every language has its own stemmer, sentiment lexicon, further lexicons for entity recognition and grammar rules that help building and modifying sentiment phrases (for example with negation). This approach ensures that the analysis will be precise and unique to each language and will not be shadowed by another language’s characteristics.

For example, the Hungarian words “gáz” and “cink” (originally meaning “gas” and “zink”, respectively) have negative secondary meanings as “lame” or “crappy”, but these are characteristics only of the Hungarian vocabulary. It would be a huge mistake to have these words as phrases with negative sentiment in any other language.
