How does emotion recognition work?
Neticle automatically detects 8 emotions in written texts.
Neticle has defined 8 emotions: anger, astonishment, disgust, enjoyment, fear, longing, pleasure and sadness. Each emotion has a set of synonyms. The emotion is recognized in a verbatim only if any of its synonyms can be found in the text by matching the beginning of a phrase, or by exact match (depending on the settings of each emotion). For example, the synonyms for ‘fear’ include: phobia, fright, panic, trepidation, afraid, scared.
