I can't find a mention on the portal. What should I do?

If you are unable to locate a mention on the portal, there are a few steps you can take before reaching out to Neticle's support team.

These might solve this issue.

  1. Check the analyzed time period. Make sure you are looking at the correct time period in which the mention was published. It's possible that the mention falls outside the range you are currently examining.
  2. Verify the keyword. Double-check if you are using the correct keyword for your search. Confirm that the keyword accurately represents the content you are trying to find.
  3. Utilize the URL filter. Apply a URL filter to see if there are any mentions from a specific URL related to your keyword. This can help determine whether the mention is actually present and has just been overlooked.
  4. Review keyword settings. Examine the settings of your keywords to see if any excluded words are preventing the mention from being crawled. Additionally, ensure that your keyword's synonym list is comprehensive enough to capture the desired mentions. If adjustments are needed, please reach out to support or to your CSM, providing them with the mention's link and the specific changes you require in your keyword setup.

If after following these steps, you still cannot locate the mention, please contact your CSM with the exact link of the missing mention and specify the keyword it should be associated with. They will be able to assist you further.
