Automatic email exports can be useful when you would like to be regularly updated on the new results of your CX research, such as weekly summaries of incoming survey answers or social listening data. To set up automatic emails for export sending, follow these steps:
- Click on the three dots at any active dataset.
- Choose ‘Scheduled export’ from the options.
- In the pop-up window, click ‘Add new’.
- Proceed with filling out the details: give your scheduled export a name, and add email recipients.
- In the second step, set up a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
- Finally, choose what kind of output files you would like to send, and how long the included period should be.
At this point, you can save your schedule, or you can proceed to Filter (3) and add optional filtering. This is useful if you only want to send exports of specific kinds of results, based on polarity, custom labels, and so on.
When you’re happy with your choices, click ‘Apply filters’, and then ‘Save and exit’.
Naturally, you can schedule multiple exports for the same dataset. Once you have created one or more schedules, you’ll see them listed right after saving, or later when you click again on ‘Scheduled export’. Here you can always manage them: edit them, delete them, or add more.
