d) Multi-factor Authentication
a) Password Reset
To change your password, click on ‘Reset password’ in your Profile settings.
A popup window will then inform you that an email has been sent to you to reset your password. You should check your inbox and follow the instructions in the email.
b) Email Address Change
To change your email address, click on ‘Change email address’ in your Profile settings.
In the popup window that appears, enter your new email address and your password, then click ‘Submit’. Check the inbox of your new email address for the verification email, and confirm that you wish to use this email address in the future. Your password will remain the same.
c) Display Language
You can change the display language of the whole Zurvey.io portal from your Profile settings. Currently, the portal is available in Czech, English, German, and Hungarian. Click on the one you wish to use in the dropdown menu, and don’t forget to click on ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.
d) Multi-factor Authentication
You can enhance the security of your Zurvey.io account with our SMS authentication feature. Each time you log in, the system will automatically send an SMS to your registered phone number, providing an extra layer of identity verification through a unique code.
To enable this function, simply add your phone number and complete the initial verification. From that point forward, every login to your account will be fortified with Multi-Factor Authentication.
e) Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your Zurvey.io account, click on ‘Delete my account’ in your Profile settings.
In case you are the only member of your group with admin rights, deleting your account is not possible (the option will be displayed in gray font). You should first assign admin rights to someone else in the group, or simply delete the whole group under Group settings.
In every other case, when you click on ‘Delete my account’, a popup will appear where you’ll be asked to assign ownership of your datasets to another user in the group, whom you can select from a drop down menu. This means that even though all data related to your account (email address, username, login details) data will be removed, the datasets you’ve created will still be available to other users in your group. The creator will be displayed as a removed user. You cannot delete your account unless you complete this step.
As a last confirmation step before finalization, you’ll also need to enter the name of your group (which is usually the name of your company). When you’ve assigned ownership to another user and correctly entered the group’s name, the ‘Delete my account’ button turns red.
At this point, you can still change your mind and click on ‘I want to stay’. Otherwise, click on ‘Delete my account’ - deletion will now become final.
