On the left side of any chart you can see the four main filters: date, polarity, source and keyword, as well as the advanced filtering options (more on these here). You can remove any filters by clicking the X next to them, or you can add new ones by clicking on the filter and choosing from the options appearing in the window.
Once you have your desired settings all set up, click on the “Apply” button below the filters. This will apply the changes you made on the chart you are working on.
Important notes:
- If you want to apply changes to more than one chart, you need to click on the chevron icon on the apply button and choose “Apply changes to all charts” or “Apply changes to selected charts”. (You can select charts by clicking on their titles - the colored title will indicate that the chart has been selected.)
- Any changes you make on a chart will NOT be automatically saved once you click out of the report view or leave the platform. So upon your next login, the last saved version of the charts will appear. If you want to save the changes you made on a chart for the whole report view, click on the chevron icon on the apply button and choose “Save to all”.
- You can copy any filter setup from any chart by clicking on the chevron icon on the Apply button and choosing “Copy to clipboard” – this will copy the filters that are applied to the chart and you can paste them at any other chart on the same report, OR even go to a different report and apply the filters to any chart in there. To paste the filters, you need to click on the advanced filter sign (the plus icon next to “Filters” and choose the filters from the clipboard that will be displayed right on the top).
