Besides cleverly visualizing your data in charts and report views, Neticle Media Intelligence also offers to go to the mention level right away by creating Feed views.
Feed views don’t necessarily include charts (though there is an option to add so-called summary charts if one wishes) but the mentions and attached metadata that were collected for the monitored keywords.
Feed views have the exact same filtering options as charts (more on those here) so you can deep dive into your database and find any mention you want based on source type, author, URL polarity and so on.
Feed views can be created by going to the Feed section right below the report section in the main menu, and then either clicking on the + sign next to “Feeds” or by clicking the “Add new feed” button below. From here on, the process is very similar to creating report views – you’ll see Feed templates that are pre-set, so you only have to choose the keyword you wish to see the mentions for, OR you can change these settings based on your current requirements and have a personalized feed view.
You can also choose whether you want to have summary charts and/or automated insights in your Feed view in the display settings (by default, these are switched off).
Expert tip: In case you want to create a feed view to check data recurrently, use the pre-sets for time periods such as “previous 24 hours, week or month”, depending on the frequency at which you want to check the data.
You can also change/edit existing feed views later on by clicking on the cogwheel icon next to the feed view in the main menu. From here, you can change the feed view’s name, its filtering settings (including the keyword), and its display settings - so nothing is set in stone once you create a feed view, everything can be changed later on.
You can also delete and copy an existing feed view from the feed views’ settings page, by clicking on the chevron icon on the “Save” button (bottom right corner) and choosing Delete or Save copy. From there you’ll also see the option to copy the feed view’s settings to the clipboard (should you wish to add them to another report or feed view) and to create a notification based on the report view’s settings (these are what we call Newsletters).
