There’s no need to announce or prepare working from home. Because of the virus, most of us work from home anyway. Every meeting can be attended through an online platform as well - even the team-building events and onboarding meetings. For developers, it has always been enough to tell others even on the day of the meeting that we would be joining remotely, even before the virus. We've been building this culture for years.
